On your own website

One line of code, for ordering and for booking. As a floating button or fixed in the page.

The button

One line into your own website, and a button “Order online” appears at the bottom right. A click opens the ordering page on top of your site, without the visitor leaving it. Nothing about your layout changes.

You find the finished code in the dashboard on the overview, under Settings in the tab Brand and storefront, and at the end of the setup wizard. It carries your short name and works only for your restaurant.

You assemble it rather than just copy it. On the overview a switch decides whether the button opens ordering or table booking; in the settings the matching box appears once under Brand and storefront (ordering) and once under Reservations (table). Everywhere there is a field for the label: leave it empty and the button reads “Order online” or “Book a table”, and anyone who prefers “To our delivery service” or “Book a table now” writes that in. The code below changes with it.

Order

Floating button

one line, visible everywhere on the site

The ordering page, fixed in the content

Fixed in one place

the same line, exactly where it belongs

Two ways to use the same single line. Both load the same ordering page.

Fixed in the page

If you want the ordering page at a particular spot, for instance under a heading “Order”, put the same line there and add one attribute. It then sits as a block in the page content and grows with the page.

Booking instead of ordering

The same line also opens table booking when one attribute is added. You find the finished code in the dashboard under Settings, tab Reservations, once as a button and once fixed in the page.

Both together works: anyone offering ordering and booking puts both lines in. The buttons then stack instead of covering each other, and only one panel is ever open. Opening one closes the other.

Reservations belong to the Pro plan. The order button is in every plan.

⚠️ One difference you only notice in practice: the embedded booking form shows NO way back to the menu. It sits on your website, your visitor is already there, and a link out would lead them away from the booking they just started. On the standalone address (your-restaurant.flavoso.com/reserve, the one that belongs on a flyer or in your Google listing) the way to the menu very much is there: it is the only one.

What it works with

Anywhere you can insert your own HTML. Tested with Wix, WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Jimdo and IONOS.

The click-by-click guide for those six is at flavoso.com/en/embed, with a tab per builder and a complete example page. Everywhere the embed code appears in the dashboard, a “Guide” button leads there in a new tab: on the overview, under Settings in the Brand tab and under Reservations.

Anyone who cannot insert code at all simply links to their own ordering address. That always works and is the better answer for many venues.

Checking that it sits

The wizard and the settings have a check: you enter your website address and Flavoso looks whether the code is really being loaded there. That saves the round of “I pasted it but nothing happens”.
