Numbers and reporting
Revenue, orders, average ticket, the trend, bestsellers, peak hours, visitors and export.
The overview
Revenue, the number of orders and the average ticket over the chosen window, plus the trend as bars, the best-selling dishes and the hours people order in.
The window switches between today, seven days, thirty days and a year. Your choice is still there the next time you open it.
The tiles can be rearranged, hidden and made wide or narrow. Anyone who looks for the same thing every morning should find it at the top left.
Die Kacheln lassen sich anordnen, ausblenden und in der Breite ändern. Ein Wirt, der jeden Morgen dasselbe sucht, soll es oben links finden.
Saved compared with a platform
One of the tiles works out what the same orders would have cost at 13 percent commission. That is not a claim about any particular provider, it is a calculation with a common rate, and it is there because it answers the real question: is this worth it.
Visitors
Separately from that stands who was on the ordering page without ordering: page views, visits, where they came from, entry and exit pages, device type and country.
Page views and visits are not the same thing. A view is one page opened, the same page twice included. A visit is one device on one day, no matter how many pages it opens.
Only visitors who agreed in the banner are counted. So the real numbers are likely higher than the ones shown, and anyone comparing them with another statistic should know that.
Export
Export has its own item in the sidebar, right below Visitors, and sits at /export.
You pick what goes in: Orders, Line items, Guests, Reservations, Menu and Tables. Every tick becomes its own sheet in the file.
You choose the period as a month, as from and to, or with one of the buttons: this month, last month, this year, everything. Picking a month always fills both fields, start and end.
The formats are Excel (.xlsx) and CSV. CSV holds one single table, so exactly one tick stays there. If you need several sheets, take Excel.
Per order the file holds the date, the code, the requested time, the order type, the status, the payment method, the subtotal, the delivery fee, the discount, the tip, the total and the guest's details.
Export is in every plan, but only for people who have the area Numbers and visitors. The guest list holds phone numbers; it does not belong in everyone's hands.
It is deliberately only in the browser, not in the app: a spreadsheet is something you want to open where you are going to work with it.
